I got in trouble at work last week ... my company gave out silly a couple of stickers to each of us. The stickers look a bit communist, little stars and crescent shapes.
Fortunately for me I stumbled across two full sheets of stickers. *grins*
So I went about putting stickers all over my work laptop, all total about 30 little stickers.

So I am walking past the IT dept when I hear the main desktop support guy scream at me ... in a very new york esq voice - "YOU DIDN'T PUT STICKERS ON YOUR LAPTOP DID YOU?!?!" - He summons his boss ... (a very thin, extremely animated guy) - who bolts over to me at near the speed of sound ... and gives me this really unpleasant look.
I responded ... "Corporate Laptop ... Corporate Stickers ... whats the big deal?" .. He thinks for a moment ... gives me the evil eye and says ... "The company pays for the laptop, in a way the company pays for your car ... corporate car ... I have lots of stickers..." - fortunately it has so far been an empty threat :P
We have since had a long debate which will result in a corporate policy, I, and I alone am explicitly forbidden from putting stickers of any kind on my corporate laptop ;)
Otherwise things have been tough ... I need to find my reboot button. |
